By: Jamil al-Jadabi (almotamar.net) - SANA'A- The leadership of the Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen) decided to cancel the Iftar Project for this year throughout the governorates after a number of its mosque preachers had collected a large amount of money from citizens and public benefactors for this project.
Almotamar.net came to know from reliable sources that the money collected for the Iftar Project has been allocated to pay off the party's debts of its election campaign.
The defeat of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) in the September elections overshadowed the charities that belong to the Islah party and thwarted other projects from which fasters benefit during the holy month of Ramadan.
