By: almotamar.net - SANA�A- Opposition party Sons of Yemen League, known as RAY, welcomed the address of President Ali Abdullah Saleh delivered on Friday evening in Sana�a.
In a cable sent to President Saleh, the party praised Saleh�s decision on the heads of local districts and governors of governorates who will be elected by members of the local authority.
The party described this decision as an important and positive step towards extensive reforms, considering decentralization as a basis for combating corruption.
The party also stated Saleh�s call for brushing aside the political address during the presidential campaigns is an important step towards the national harmony as it enhances the reform process.
