On his leaving Sana’a Sunday the US official pointed out that his talks with officials at the Yemeni foreign affairs and expatriates ministry tackled bilateral relations and the United States role in supporting the program of economic reform in Yemen as well as the success of London conference for donors scheduled in London mid of next November.

He made it clear that the meetings also dealt with the situations in the Middle East region especially the Palestinian issue and peace efforts exerted to reach a solution to the Arab Israeli conflict. He described the presidential and municipal elections held in Yemen on 20 September as important step for enhancement of democracy in \Yemen.
