By: almotamar.net - SANA’A- Commenting on the statements of Abdul-Wahab al-Anes, assistant secretary –general of the Islah Party made in a television interview, head of the Information Office at the General People’s Congress (GPC) Tareq al-Shami said, “We wished Abdul-Wahab al-Anesi would be more fair and objective in confessing to and accepting the sweeping defeat of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) during the 2006 elections, which was the result of the provoking political address.”
Al-Shami added that al-Anesi forgot to confess that what the JMP coalition got in the elections doesn’t represent its real weight amid the masses, and that is due to its forging facts and misleading public opinion.
“Future will not favor the parties of the JMP bloc as their account is empty at the national and achievement level. All of these parties have an account of bitter and unsuccessful experiences with the people,” he added.
Al-Shami further noted that al-Anesi’s talk about the transparent relations with the Untied States is a strange matter. “The JMP leaderships keep making private relations and holding frequent meetings with the officials at the US Embassy and other foreign embassies. The parties of the JMP have to disclose the nature of such relations and what they discuss in their meetings so that the citizens would know them and whether they harm the national interest and violate the law
