By:almotamar.net - SANA�A- The Democracy School and Child Parliament called on the Ministry of Interior to punish dealers and importers of firecrackers and ban their entering into the country.
In its statement, the Democratic School complains of the frequent existence of firecrackers during the holy month of Ramadan, calling on concerned authorities to take necessary measures to stop the spread of firecrackers. The child Parliament expressed concern over the damages firecrackers cause to children, affirming only children pay the cost of firecrackers as they end in detention in police stations. The democracy school stated that it has talked with the parents of those children who use firecrackers and made them undertake that they will not allow their children to continue such practices.
The statement made it clear that in order to curb this phenomenon it is important to punish dealers and importers of firecrackers before punishing children.
