Almotamar Net - SANAA-Yemen is to take part in the 3-day 9th Arab conference on the mineral wealth to be held in Jeddah Saudi Arabia on 30th of current October. Mr. Bahah said the conference scheduled to be opened by King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia aims to provide convenient investment climate and attractive to Arab and foreign capitals to invest in mining sector and transfer of modern technology in a way contributing to diversify sources of Arab national income and reducing the proportion of unemployment and providing job new opportunities.
The Yemeni minister indicated Yemen will participate actively in the conference by reviewing seven working papers and other seven background papers in addition to taking part in the technology exhibition there. The Yemeni delegation will also present a working paper on the geological survey and mineral exploration in Yemen and other papers on promising deposits in the areas bordering Yemen with Saudi Arabia as well as industrial and constructional rocks in the governorates of Abyan and Lahj and the gold belt mixed with rocks in the western and north-western parts of Yemen.
