Almotamar Net - Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Elections and Referenda (SCER) Khaled al-Shareef met here on Wednesday with a team of international electoral experts team.

The team would take part in a workshop to be jointly organized by the SCER, the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES) and the UN Development Program (UNDP) in order to develop skills of election supervisors.

During the meeting, they previewed goals of the workshop which would improve the capabilities of SCER's staffers to handle elections
according to the relative disciplines.

Al-Shareef spoke favorably over the partnership between the SCER, IFES and UNDP in holding such enlightening and training workshops.
He expressed his ambitious desire to help this workshop establishing election training center in Yemen for the region.
