Almotamar Net - The cabinet approved on Wednesday the draft of the state budget for the year 2006 for both central and local levels with a total YR 1,052 trillion, which exceeds last year's budget with 38.8 per cent.

The cabinet confirmed recommendations of the Supreme Committee for Budgets, that insisted the need for keeping the deficit under 3 per cent.

On the other hand, the cabinet assigned ministers of finance, legal affairs and state minister for parliament affairs to submit the draft budget to the parliament for final endorsement.
