Almotamar Net - Minister of Public Health and Population Mohammad Yahya al-Noami held talks here on Saturday with regional
manager for theMidlle East at the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr Abdul Razaq al-Jazairi.

During the meeting, they discussed issued related to the public health in Yemen and efforts exerted by the ministry in cooperation with its partners, particularly the WHO in field of enhancing services of basic health and fighting epidemic diseases such as polio.

Al-Noami highlighted the importance of reactivating relations of bilateral cooperation in field of vaccination and the blood bank and rehabilitating the staffers in this field.

For his part, the WHO official highly appreciated efforts exerted by the ministry in improving the health situations, confirming continuation of WHO's support to Yemen in that field.
