almotamar.net - SANAA-The civil service ministry has finished procedures of the nomination of 14 thousand applicants to fill the jobs the ministry had announced availability on 26 of last August in various units of the state�s administrative and economic institutions.

The minister of civil service Hamoud Khalid al-Soufi told almotamar.net that recruitment committee of the ministry has finished this week the nomination of 14 thousand persons to fill the jobs. They are out of 90 thousand persons who applied for jobs in the public sector and the state.
The minister also said implementation of employment balance carried out by the Yemeni government is carried out according to professional criteria based on principle of transparency and equality among applicants. He added it is the right of any applicant for jobs to see his data and the data of other applicants and to register his objection to any procedure he finds as violating the law taken against him.
The ministry had last year imposed punishments against some administration officials working for its offices in different governorates and sent them to prosecution after discovery of cheating cases in 300 jobs last year and returned those job opportunities to those deserving them.
The ministry of civil service is carrying out large-scale administrative reforms in the public sector of the government in cooperation with a number of donor countries, in accordance with the program of the administrative and economic reform which Yemen is implementing.
