Jamil Jadabi almotamar.net - SANAA- A government official affirmed Thursday that the election of secretaries general and members of Administrative bodies in the districts in Yemen are already finished in 296 districts out of 327 at a percentage of 90%.

The minister of local administration Sadiq Aburas told almotamar.net that the there still 30 districts where elections are not finished and expected that most of elections to be finished this evening and tomorrow morning. He indicated that the law and the regulation stipulate holding the elections in the second day in case it is not possible to complete the legal quorum in the first day.

Aburas told almotamar.net the proportion of renewal in elections of secretaries general of governorates local councils amounted to 40%, indicating that preliminary indicators on high proportion of renewal in the councils of districts.
He said the elections have been conducted in proper and democratic and in accordance with electoral regulations and programs.
