B y: almotamar.net - MARIB: Member of the local council in Marib governorate Saleh Rashed has fired bullets at the head of Raghwan district in protest against yesterday's election results of the local councils, a local source has said.
Local sources told almotamar.net that security authorities intervened and no one was injured as Rashed fired bullets. Sources ascribed the differences to the administrative board elections in Raghwan district which consists of 18 local councils members, half of whom belong to the Islah party and the other half Generla People's Congress. The Islahi members have kidnapped two GPC members day before the administrative board elections began, and that the two members still are detained, sources added.
