By: Mohammed Taher (almotamar.net) - IBB- General Director of Hubaish district of Ibb governorate Saleh Bin Naji al-Sufi said huge landslides that occurred in one of the district's mountains caused people to evacuate their house which have been cracked and affected for fear the phenomenon would develop.
Al-Sufi told almotamar.net that he visited the affected area where volcanic rocks fell, affirming he surveyed 8 houses, and that citizens have put up tents away from the cite.
Al-Sufi expressed concern if the village on the mountain would be affected, especially the landslides were accompanied by smoke that increases in the afternoon and intensifies at night. This is the first phenomenon in the are, locals said.

The concerned authorities sent a geological team to the area after we informed them, he added.
