Almotamar.net - SANA�A- The Ministry of Interior informed its branches allover governorates to activate the role of police and security units in order to monitor and follow up the activities of al-Qaeda members.
A security official told almotamar.net that the deputy minister of interior has issued a general note asking the security authorities throughout governorates to make safe governmental institutions and economic services. The sources of almotamar.net stated that security committees in the governorates have held meetings after the issuance of the general note to take necessary measures.
Reuters said yesterday that Al Qaeda's wing in U.S.-allied Yemen claimed responsibility for September 15 attacks on oil facilities in the Arab state and vowed more strikes against the United States and its allies.
