Almotamar.net - SANA'A- President Ali Abdullah Saleh reaffirmed Yemen's support for the efforts made to maintain peace and stability in Somalia, indicating the stability of Somalia is an important matter for Yemen and the region.
Saleh called on the international community to take responsibility of Somalia and reconstructing what have been destroyed by the war.
This came during the talks between President Saleh and Somali president Abdullah Yousof on the latest developments in Somalia. Yousof briefed the situation in his country and the results of his visit to China.
"Yemen plays an important and prominent role and its efforts made to brig about reconciliation in Somalia can't be forgotten," Yousof said.
