Almotamar.net - SANA’A- The Sana'a-based Penal Court's Appeal Division today upheld the first instant court’s judgment on the Italian tourists' kidnappers who are sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The first instant court had sententeced four Zaidi men, who are Najee Mohammed Al-Zaidi, Mohammed Saleh Al-Zaidi, Ali Saleh Al-Zaidi and Abid Saleh Al-Zaidi, to 20 years in prison starting on the date of their capture. Mari’ Ali al-Ameri was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and Hadi Mohammed al-Ameri to 5 years in prison.
On the other hand, the court refused the judgment of the first instant court that acquitted Nabil al-Sayyad and Abdul-Wahed al-Mesbahi who are charged of foreign stamps of Sana’a University, ministry of higher education, embassies of Kuwait and United Arab emirates as well as the stamp of the general people’s congress. The suspects were sentenced to 3 years in prison each.
