By: Jamil Jadabi (almotamar.net) - SANAA-Thousands of Yemeni demonstrators in Sana’a demanded Sunday lifting the iniquitous blockade imposed on the Palestinian people. In a message they handed over to the United Nations representative in Sana’a they stressed there must be pressure exercised on Israel rulers for the implementation of all international legitimacy relevant resolutions, demanding the UN to impose international protection for the Palestinian people.
The demonstrators raised slogans condemning the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people the latest of which the massacre of Beit Hanoun. They also denounced the Arab total silence towards theses crimes and, considering the Israeli blockade against the Palestinian people as a genocide crime.
Kenaan Society for Palestine in Yemen chairman demanded Arab organizations and governments as well as peace-loving countries in the world to wring out resolutions from relevant international organizations stipulating that what Israel is committing come under war crimes and genocide crimes, stressing in his address the importance that Israel must stand trial at the International Criminal court and lifting the blockade imposed on the Palestinian people. Chairman of Kenaan society Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh announced about preparing a plane loaded with medicines and medical supplies to be sent to Gaza and a convoy of food assistance to the West Bank. He asked the UN and the Red Cross and concerned international organizations to pressure Israel for conveying those food stuffs. He said the savage crime perpetrated by Israel in Gaza Strip and the /West Bank is one link of a series of crimes most blatant of which is the blockade imposed on the Palestinian people for more than nine months with participation of the United States and countries of the European Union as well as the conniving Arab Silence. He described the Israeli crime in Beit Hanoun as a mark of shame on the forehead of humanity that stood incapable of deterring and punishing the perpetrator.
The people’s demonstration in which heads and representatives of mass organizations and political parties and organization participated condemned the United States blocking the passing of a resolution by the UN Security Council condemning the massacre of Beit Hanoun.
