The president is to discuss with king Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and crown prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz many of issues especially final preparations for convening the donors conference scheduled in London Wednesday.
A Yemeni diplomatic source in the KSA in a statement to akmoitamar.net considered p[resident Saleh�s visit today as an appreciation of the role played by KSA and the rest of the GCC states in the preparation for the donors conference that will enhance progress and development Yemen is witnessing under leadership of president Ali Abdullah Saleh. The source also indicated that this role was embodiment of the bonds of relations between Yemen and the GCC states and their common interests.
The source welcomed the president�s visit on behalf of the Yemeni community in Saudi Arabia, evaluating the president�s role in developing the Yemeni-Saudi relations.
The Yemeni ambassador to the KSA Mohammed Bin Ali al-Ahwal told almotamar.net on Sunday that president Saleh chose the kingdom as his first visit abroad after his re-election as president of Yemen because of the strong relations between the two countries. He said the common issues between the two countries such as the Iraqi file and the Palestinian file, as well as the file of fighting terror would be among the main topics on the Yemeni-Saudi talks' agenda.
