Almotamar.net - SANA'A- A Yemen-British summit is to be held tomorrow in London, where President Ali Abdullah Saleh and British Prime Minister Tony Blair will participate. The summit will focus on the results of the donors' conference, as well as the latest developments at the Arab and regional level.
Britain announced one month ago its readiness to participate in the donors' conference, which reflected positively on the improvement in relations between the two countries.
The United Kingdom announced it would increase development aid to Yemen to USD 218 million over the next four years. Minister of planning and international cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi said this rise in aid represents 300 percent comparing to the aid over 2004-2005, which amounted to $ 20 million.
