The UK Minister of International Development Gareth Thomas announced during his opening of the donor conference in London had announced his country�s offering to Yemen $222 million over the four coming four years.
Four other Gulf countries have announced offering Yemen one billion and 100 million dollars, mainly Saudi Arabia that announced in the first session of conference to offer one billion dollars, in addition to one billion dollars from Qatar and the United Arab emirates while Oman offered $100 million.

Meetings of the donor conference continues in London with Gulf participation at foreign and finance ministerial level , in addition to international participation represented by the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and representatives from international establishments, the United Nations, the United States of America, Canada and European Union countries.
