In a message to Lebanese parliament speaker Nabib Barri conveyed in Beirut Wednesday by member of the Shoura Council Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi the president expressed the Yemeni republic�s concern pertaining the situations in Lebanon and his wishes that he Lebanese would give priority to wisdom, the national interest, the language of dialogue and accord and setting aside the biddings turn to what will enhance the national unity, stability and common living. The president�s message also affirmed Yemen�s standing by the Lebanese people and its offering all that will help overcome the crisis.

According to Saba news agency al-Mikhlafi discussed with Barri during the two men meeting the measures related to president Saleh�s directives on finishing the reconstruction of the town of Burj Alshamali in the district of Tyre in south Lebanon, which was destroyed as a result of the Zionist aggression on Lebanon last summer.

Mr. al-Mikhlafi had earlier met chairman of the South Reconstruction Council and discussed with him the measures regarding reconstruction of the town of Burj Alshamali which the president gave his directives to reconstruct as part of Yemen�s participation in helping reconstruct Lebanon out of the people�s donations including money what has been raised by businessmen for the support of the president�s election campaign in the presidential and local elections last September.
