The minister stated the investigations proved that petrol and that the electricity network didn't cause the fire. "Investigations are going on," he added.
Basurrah said his ministry has finished counting all previous problems and the cases of 700 students, and that the ministry has finished their procedures and prepared lists that were sent to the Ministry of Finance.
He affirmed this incident wouldn't thwart his ministry to continue making right the ways of sending students study abroad, and treat all shortcomings as well as establish the principle of transparency when granting scholarships to students.
The ministry last year discovered nine people suspected of forging official documents to send 560 students abroad for study, and referred them to justice.
