Jamil al-Jadabi(almotamar.net) - SANA'A- Kana'n Association, a non government organization in Yemen, said the second aid shipment for the Palestinian people arrived today in Jordan carrying 85 tons of basic foodstuffs.
A spokesman of the Yemeni Popular Committee for supporting Palestinian Resistance told almotamar.net that the Jordanian charitable committee has received from Yemen some 85 tons of foodstuffs and medications, in addition to large electricity generators.
Jordanian News Agency quoted Abdul-Salam al-Obadi, secretary general of the charitable committee, as saying the committee will take necessary measures to hand over the shipment to the Palestinians in Gaza strip, making it clear that the aid shipment arrived by land to Jordan on four trucks.
Yemeni ambassador to Jordan Hussein Taher said this shipment will be followed by others in an effort to uphold and stand by the Palestinian people.
