Almotamar.net- - SANA'A- General consul at the Yemeni Embassy in Riyadh Mohammed Sa'ad Abdul-Ghani said the Ministry of Higher Education excluded 23 students out of those students selected by the Embassy to study in Yemen.
In a statement to almotamar.net, Abdul-Ghani noted 350 students (males and females) have submitted their applications to the Embassy in order to study in Yemeni universities, and 60 students of them were selected, but the Ministry of Higher Education replaced 23 students who got high grades with others without knowing about the reasons.
With regard to 100 scholarships announced in Sana'a for expatriates, the consul made it clear that he had heard about these scholarships but, unfortunately, nothing has arrived. We hope instructions would come to us so that we can coordinate with the students of Yemeni expatriates in Saudi Arabia, where there are many students, he added.
