The sources made it clear that the two leaders are to hold talks focusing on Arab situations and efforts for the realization of solidarity and coordination among the Arab countries for facing existing challenges. In addition they will discuss new developments in the Arab and regional areas as well as coordinating stands towards them, especially deterioration of the security situations in Iraq, floundering o the peace process in the Middle East, the situations in Lebanon, Sudan and Somalia.
The two leaders are also to discuss the ways of developing relations of the two countries and enhancement of cooperation in various areas, according 26september.net.

The Yemeni-Syrian relations have witnessed noticeable progress in the recent years and the two countries hold annual meeting chaired by the two countries’ prime ministers as part of the Joint Higher Commission.
Sana’a and Damascus have lately agreed on the establishment of a navigation route liking the Yemeni and Syrian seaports for the purpose of activating the two countries’ trade.
