almotamar.net - SANAA-The General People�s Congress (GPC)�s assistant secretary-general Sutan al-Barakani expressed his strong astonishment over fallacies and twisting the fact contained in the report by the secretary-general of Yemen Grouping for Reform (Islah) Party presented to meeting of the party�s shoura last Wednesday, describing it as fitful and considered it as an attempt to escape from bearing the responsibility for the loss of his party and the JMP in the latest elections held on 20 last September.

Mr. al-Barakani said �We believed that the people in the JMP and Islah in particular have during the period following 20 September studied the results of elections objectively to reshape according to them their programs and address in the manner compatible with interests of the people and their will they expressed through balloting boxes.� He expressed astonishment that secretary general of the Islah Mohammed al-Yadoumi comes out to the people with his report presented to the Islah shoura to repeat the same fitful address and topple the facts and show non-comprehension of the process of development and the will of change the electors expressed away from the language of extremism and exaggeration and the destructive behabiour suffered by peoples of some countries.

Al-Barakani considered contents of the report as an attempt to misleadingly justify the defeat in the elections, addressing al-Yadoumi, �If you were to justify for your leading organizations it was supposed to talk to them frankly about the facts rather than the attempts of misleading,� reminding him that one of the major causes of their heavy failure in the elections was the sophistic and fitful address that the electors despised and distanced themselves from believing or dealing with it.
