Nabil Abdul Rab(almotamar.net) - SANA'A- The Parliament today approved the draft law of additional approbations for the state's general budget 2006, with an amount of 422 billion, 368 million and 813 thousand riyals, which is 36 percent of the budget. The proposed additional approbations of last year exceeded 50 percent.
The opposition parties were worried about lifting oil derivatives subsidies, but they refused to vote in favour of the additional approbations that included subsidies on oil derivatives exceeding 146 billion riyals.
MP Yahya al-Raee stated the approbations didn't go to the government or used in building palaces.
