Arif ABU hATIM ALMOTAMAR.NET - SANAA- Yemen's ambassador to Pakistan Abdulillah Hajar said Yemen is to sign four state agreements with Pakistan during the present visit of Pakistan's prime minister to Yemen Mr. Shawkat Aziz.

The Yemeni ambassador said the agreements would cancel visas for those bearing service passports from both countries, and an agreement related to higher education according to which the Pakistani government grants 20 scholarships to Yemeni students, and 20-40 scholarships for higher studies provided that the grants cover all scientific specialties except medicine which according to the Pakistani system does not under authority of the ministry of higher education.

The ambassador added that a third agreement will be in the agricultural field and accordingly there will be exchange of expertise and talents in areas of irrigation and improvement of agricultural production. The agreement also includes fighting diseases, opening an institute for training yemeni agricultural guides under Pakistani spmsorship. The fourth agreement will stipulate on exchange of technical espertise in the cultural and artistic side..
