Almotamar.net - SANAA-Chairman of the Islamic Courts in Somalia informed President Ali Abdullah Saleh on developments of the current situation in Somalia and the Islamic Courts stand and vision for solving the crisis in Somalia and coming out the current situation.

During his meeting with president Saleh in Aden Wednesday chairman of the Islamic Courts of Somalia Sherif Sheikh Ahmed praised the president's stands that are keen on achieving national reconciliation and establishment of peace and stability in Somalia, reminding of the fraternal historical relations between Yemen and Somalia peoples.

President Saleh renewed Yemen's keenness on continuing its efforts for healing the rift and bringing viewpoints closer among the Somali factions for the establishment of peace and stability in Somalia. The president made it clear that Yemen does not side with one party against the other but interested in the realization of reconciliation and consolidation of the national unity and prevalence of security, stability and peace in Somalia and that the Somali people be devoting their effort to reconstruct what the war destroyed and build establishments of the Somali state.
President Saleh also indicated the necessity that each party in Somalia recognizes the other and coexists with it in a frame of enhancing the Somali national unity in a manner precluding external intervention in Somali affairs.
The president affirmed that the security and stability of Somalia is a concern of Yemen and all states of the region, adding that Yemen would not spare any efforts for helping the Somali people and standing by them and for al; pours in interest of Somalia and preservation of its security, stability and unity.
