Almotamar.net - SANAA- President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Monday received a telephone call from head of the Somali transitional government Abdullah Yusuf Ahmed. During the call the Somali president informed president Saleh on the latest developments going on in Somalia.

The Somali leader told Saleh that his government was able managed to control the situations in various parts of Somalia completely. He confirmed that the Ethiopian forces helped the government forces in controlling the country and that came in response to the Somali transitional government and those forces will withdraw from Somalia once security and stability are established.

On his part president Saleh stressed the importance of the Somali people unity and to heal the rift among different Somali factions in the way guaranteeing consolidation of security and stability and enabling all to reconstruct what the was has destroyed and building the state's institutions.
