Almotamar.net - SANAA- Late president Saddam Hussein's family in Yemen says the Iraqi Mujahidin following the path of martyr president will not forget the stand of president Ali Abdullah Saleh which it describes as brotherly and generous and expressing the highest Arab gallantry and men's ardency.

The message that was read out during the prayer on the spirit of late president Hussein performed in Sana'a expressed gratitude and appreciation of the family of president Saddam for the stand of president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

It is to be mentioned that the Yemeni government had appealed to the American administration and the Iraqi government to stop carrying out the death sentence against the former Iraqi president, which was implemented on 30 December last.

The daughter of late President Hussein had earlier asked president Saleh of Yemen to bury the corpse of Saddam in Yemen until Iraq is liberated from occupation, but Iraqi authorities refused the request and thus he was buried in his home village Al-Aoujah of the Iraqi governorate OF Saladin.
