almotamar.net - SANAA- The Yemeni-Jordanian technical committee meeting on Saturday resulted in setting up five ad hoc committees to discuss 23 agreements and protocols to be referred to the higher committee scheduled to convene on Sunday in Sana'a and co-chaired by the two countries' heads of government.
The first ad hoc committee is concerned with discussing agreements related to industry, trade, specifications and standardization, development of exports, investment and customs. The sector committee discusses agreements pertaining to agriculture, irrigation, fish wealth, oil and minerals, electricity, communications and information technology, post, water and environment, and pubic works and roads.
Services committee follow up areas of planning cooperation, social affairs and labour, endowments and guidance, civil services and securities, health and population, tourism and cooperation between the two countries' premierships.
The committee of cultural and scientific cooperation will undertake discussion of the two countries' cooperation in education, higher education, technical education, culture, historical ruins, youth and sport and media. The fifth committee is specialized in consulate cooperation and political, security and judicial cooperation. Its tasks are connected with the foreign ministry and the ministries of interior and justice.
