almotamar.net - SANAA-Local sources in the capital Sana'a that tribal gunmen on Monday kidnapped a government official saying they would not release him until their demands were met.

The sources made it clear that deputy chairman of the state authority for countryside projects was kidnapped on Monday by a group of gunmen who took him to Khawlan district.
The sources added that behaviour was in response to the authority's not providing them with pipes and pumps. Al-motamar.net has learnt that leadership of the governorate gave its directives to security apparatuses to look for the whereabouts of the kidnapped and arrest the perpetrators.
