Almotamar Net - Minister of foreign affairs Abu Bakr al-Qirbi confirmed that the latest tour of president Ali Abdullah Saleh to Japan, America and France was to convey Yemen concerns in development and economic, political and social reforms.
Al-Qirbi said that the opposition abroad was an attempt to harm the country for individual benefit, confirming that the political and economic reforms are a national interest and that Yemen would shoulder the costs of such reforms.
'The inside opposition faces problems of its made partly because it cannot comprehend international changes," said al-Qirbi." I think the opposition abroad does not represent an important voice."
Al-Qirbi pointed that Yemen does not accept bargaining in the Palestinian issue, asserting that the naturalization of relations with Israel was not discussed in talks between president Saleh and US president George W. Bush because, he said, Yemen stance was firm and clear towards the issue
