An official source at the security committee in Saada said a group of Abdulmalik al al-Houthi's sabotage elements attacked on Saturday a number of armed forces and security positions in the governorate of Saada causing the death of 6 men and wounding 20 others from both military and security men.

In his statement to Yemeni news agency Saba the source said those elements did not respond to the pardon decision and measures taken by the state that aimed at treating the impact of the sedition erupted by Hussein Badrudin al-Houthi and his father, including the release of elements involved in that mutiny. He said instead that they broke all promises and commitments to the state in ending their sabotage acts in order to be good citizens. The source affirmed that the local authorities and armed forces in Saada will, against all those acts of sabotage, undertake their responsibilities for keeping security and stability and end these acts carried out by those gangs of crime and will be chased and presented to court.
