SANA'A, Feb. 6 (Saba) - Yemen Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, and the Saudi Development Fund, signed Tuesday record of treaties to finance a number of development projects in Yemen at a cost of US$ 84 million.
The agreement was signed by Abdullah Ashuter, deputy planning minister for projects sector, for the ministry and Mansur Azoghbi, the chairman of the development unit at the Fund.
The agreement included a loan amounting US$ 30 million for constructing the Central Hospital in Hudeidah and another $12 million for constructing the College of Medicine at Taiz University.
The two parties signed also an agreement on construction of Educational Hospital and Cancer Centre in Hadhramout governorate at a cost of US$ 42 million.
The agreement also included discussion of aspects of dedicating the Saudi donations announced at the London Donor Conference held last November, to the construction of a number of development projects in Yemen.
