Almotamar.net - Transport and communications committee at the parliament recommended Wednesday the parliament to enforce documents of the 23rd Conference of the World Post Federation held in Bucharest in 2004.

The committee indicated in a report reviewed by the parliament on Wednesday that Bucharest Conference had made amendments on documents of the Post Federation, mentioning that Yemen can accordingly benefit from the fund on improving the quality of post service of the federation, adding that the amendments aimed at simplifying procedures, and activating and developing post services as making them higher competitive with less price and more return.
The committee report quoted the government as mentioning that the Bucharest amendments do not entail any financial burdens and will make it easy for Yemen to benefit from experiments of experienced countries in post services as well as to benefit from regional assistance projects the federation is carrying out.

It is to be indicated that the World Post Federation is one of the oldest international governmental federations established in 1874 by 22 countries and Yemen joined it in 1930.
