Almotamar.net - Yemen government official source condemned continued Israeli government practices its colonialist policies and continuous attempts to efface Islamic landmarks by carrying out diggings threatening foundations of the Holy Aqsa Mosque.

In a statement to Saba news agency the source considered Israel's premeditated practices against Islamic sanctities in Holy Al-Quds as proving it's too far disregard to Islamic feelings of all Muslims and as part of its schemes to efface the Islamic identity of the city of Al-Quds and to destroy Islamic and Christian worshipping places. The source confirmed that those practices contradict relevant international resolutions regarding the peaceful process in the region and will not help the success of international efforts for the establishment of peace between the Palestinians and Israelis.

The source also appealed to the Arab and Islamic countries and the international community to exert utmost efforts to stop the Israeli acts around the Aqsa mosque and to bear their responsibilities for the protection of Islamic sanctities.
