Sheikh Ahmed to arrive in the Yemeni capital Sana'a on Thursday after it was scheduled to arrive last Monday.

In a statement to almotamar.net the foreign minister said Sharif wiilll arrive in Sana'a as a guest of the Yemeni government rather than a political refugee, confirming that the question of asylum has not been discussed.

The FM denied press reports mentioning that Sharif's arrival in Sana'a come as part of a deal for the release of 15 American soldiers captured by forces of the Islamic Courts forces the beginning of this year.

Dr Al-Qirbi said that Sharif emphasized to the American ambassador to Nairobi that there was no American prisoner in the hands of the troops of the courts and he had also affirmed that to international media instruments.
