Almotamar.net - A ranking source at the Yemeni foreign ministry confirmed arrival in Sana'a Thursday of the Executive chairman of the Somali Islamic Courts Council Sheikh Sharif Ahmed.

The source told almotamar.net that hosting Sheikh Sharif was arranged in agreement between the governments of Yemen, Somalia and Kenya which Sharif left it early today. He added that arrival of Sharif in Yemen was product of Yemeni efforts aimed at establishment of Somali national reconciliation and restoration of security and stability to the state of Somalia. He said Sheikh Sharif is a national personality and not wanted by any side in addition to his announcement that he is convinced that dialogue is the best means for solving the conflict in Somalia.
