almotamar.net - The minister of education Dr Abdulsalam al-Jawfi said the number f teachers benefiting from job allowance amounted to 18 thousands, 12500 of them work in the capital schools and 6400 teachers in schools in Aden governorate. They are the actual numbers of teachers at schools of the two governorates after making administration reforms and correction of salaries statements.

In a statement to almotamar.net Dr al-Jawfi said payment of the allowance for teachers of the two governorates will be in this week and to be counted from September 2006 until January 2007.he said each teacher will receive a sum between 7 to 13 thousand riyals per month.

For teachers in other governorates the minister said they will be spent after correcting failures in salaries statements.
