Almotamar Net - The Beirut-based Al-Quds Corporation started here on Sunday a three-day conference to tackle issues related to the endowment of Al-QudsMosque in the framework of a project scheduled in the coming year.

In the opening session vice president Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi delivered a speech welcoming the participants in their second home.

In his speech Hadi said the conference coincided with big events and challenges face the Arab and Islamic world.

Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people is a serious indication of the Israeli hostile policy which targets peace in the region, Hadi added.

We are in Yemen renew our support to Palestinian people, wishing that
this conference would come out with recommendations that protect Al-Quds against Israeli attacks, he said.

Speaker of Parliament and deputy chairman of Al-Quds International Corporation Sheikh Abdullah bin Hussein al-Ahmar said the conference would make a new progress on the pathway to coordinate efforts of all concerned bodies to adopt the issue of Al-Quds and to protect its Arab identity and civilization.

He considered Al-Quds as "probity of all Arabs".

He added that Al-Quds corporation is a civil independent organization and that its task focuses on protecting Al-Quds city from dangers and all Zionist plots.

He affirmed the achievement of security and stability in the region would not be realized without approving rights of Palestinian people.

He pointed out to the activities of the corporation in protecting the Islamic holy places in Al-Quds and supporting education and health in the city.

Chief of trustees council of Al-Quds corporation Sheikh Yosef al-Qaradawi called for specifying further endowments in favor of Al-Quds in all Araband Islamic countries to support the legal struggle of the Palestinian people to restore rights.

He highly appreciated the support of Yemen for the Palestinian issue and all other Arab issues.

The advisor of Iranian president Ali Akbar Mohtashimi stressed on the important role of the Islamic countries to defend their holy places by unifying efforts at the ordinary and official levels to support unarmed Palestinian people to face Israeli military forces that target the Palestinian territories.

He confirmed that the issue of Al-Quds would be the central issues of all Muslims, calling international organizations of human rights to
findways to help the Palestinian people.
