almotamar.net - The General Secretariat of Arab Students Federation approved granting President Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen the Order of Arab Student for his attention to and care for Arab students and the youth and in appreciation for his courageous national and Arab stands.

Ahmed al-Matsery, head of the youth and students office at the General People's Congress told almotamar.net that Yemen is to host the Arab Student Festival for 2008 with participation of the General Union of Yemen Students. He pointed out that he Arab Students Federation' General Secretariat has decided to award the president the medal of the Arab Student.

Al-Maysery on Saturday met chairman of the Arab Students Federation, its secretary general and members of the executive bureau who are visiting Yemen to discuss student sectors at the Yemeni political parties about unifying the joint action of Arab Student Movement.
