almotamar.net - Secretary general of Arab Students Federation Nidhal Ammar `said what has been ascribed to him of talk and understood as accusation of Islah and YSP student leaderships has been misunderstood. In his statement to almotamar.net Monday he clarified that the intention is that universities should be free from partisan action inside the Yemeni universities. He added the campuses should be open to pure student unionist work within the framework of Yemen Students General Union that is open to student bodies and organizations. He pointed out the importance of the student movement in Yemen in one student entity, especially that the student leaderships are one of the largest leaderships.
Mr Ammar also called on students and student organizations to differentiation between the student unionist action and political partisan action. On the other hand Dr Abdulaziz bin Habtour, deputy minister of education discussed in his Saturday meeting with delegation of the General Federation of Arab Students a number of professional projects and issues related to issues and affairs of Arab and Yemeni student.
