almotamar.net - Yemen Finance Minister said the condition of presenting registration certificate for the purpose of the sales tax in application to various government sectors is one of the simplest rights of the homeland on its sons.

Dr Saif al-Asali told almotamar.net he that evades paying the sales tax proves to the people that he is not a good citizen and does not commit to laws and consequently does not deserve the state to deal with him through its tenders and bids and all its activities.

The minister clarified that decision No. 21 for the year 2007 covers contracts of imports, tenders, bids and services as well as contracts of works and contracts concluded with any units of the state administration and all institutions of the state. This decision is abided by all administration units of the economic public sector and the mixed sector.
