The source told almoitamar.net the government forces are still waiting for orders to confront the elements of terror and rebellion under leadership of Abdulmalik al-Houthi, clarifying that the higher command is waiting the results of mediation efforts to convince the rebels handing over their heavy and medium weapons and return to their homes. He clarified that what is now going on are intermittent clashes with elements trying to attack armed forces, security men and citizens by setting up ambushes on the road.

He added the rebels set up ambushes on the main road linking Saada to the districts and fire heavy projectiles at positions of the armed forces. This situation forces the reply by army and security men with the same weapons, denying the use of air force places in the clashes.

The source affirmed the martyrdom of 15 men of government forces in the past two days while the number of rebellion elements who were killed amounted to more than 80 terrorists, adding that the situations are calm except from intermittent clashes and pursuit of the elements trying to attack the forces stationed there. .
