almotamar.net - The president of the republic of Ethiopia Girmia Wolde-Giorgis arrived Tuesday in Sana'a leading a high level delegation on a state visit to Yemen lasting several days in response to an invitation extended to him by President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Reliable sources said the Ethiopian president is to hold talks aimed at ways consolidating friendly and cooperation relations between the two friendly countries in addition to reviewing situations in the Horn of Africa especially the situation in Somalia in the light of recent developments.

In addition the talks discuss effort for developing Sana'a Gathering in the way enabling it realize its goals in cementing bonds of cooperation and partnership among the countries of the region and preservation of stability and security.

After the end of reception ceremonies, the two leaders; President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Ethiopian president Girmia Wolde-Giorgis left for the guest president's residency at the Republican Palace.
