A draft law is to be discussed by the parliament in a few days, dealing with economic and social development after the committee of development and oil and mineral wealth finished its study and presented to the parliament on Sunday.

The draft law stresses the formation of a higher committee chaired by the prime minister and membership of concerned ministers and representatives for the private sector and civil society organizations. The task of the committee is to prepare a plan every five years and obliges government concerned authorities to prepare an annual executive plan for the realization of the plan's goals besides preparation of an annual report on the progress of implementation, the difficulties facing carrying out and proposals doe suitable treatments.
