The Jews living in the area of Raida, 60 km to the north of Sana'a considered what the elements of rebellion and terror are committing in some areas of Saada as sabotage and an act of Satan as well as a violation of peace and public interest.

They said in a press reportage published by 26 September weekly newspaper on Thursday that their fathers and grandfathers lived for thousands of years with the Muslims in Yemen and it never happened that anyone has threatened or displaced them. They indicated that those who displaced their brothers from AlSalem are but unable, confirming the necessity of punishing whoever commits the wrong and those committing crimes by the state that protects the weak and hold the unjust accountable as well as performing its duty towards its citizens.

Yemeni Jews in Raida have expressed their great appreciation for the care of the political leadership and it's ever attention to their issues. Headmaster of the Hebrew Al-Shabzi School Faiz Yahya al-Jaraadi said," I sincerely mention that if it were not for the attention and support of President Ali Abdullah Saleh the suffering of the Jewish community would have been great. The concerned authorities in the governorate offer all types of facilities and daily services that help perform all our daily needs.� he added that they practice with absolute freedom their works in line with the constitution and the law and they do not facer any restraints from the community where we live and all that by the virtue of President Saleh.
