Deputy Minister of Higher Education Mohammed Mohammed Mutahar said there are mistakes in some universities, complaining delay in issuing the executive bill of the Yemeni universities and confirmed that many of recommendations in the report of the parliamentary committee on education have been implemented e3xcept recommendations pertaining to the ministries of finance, civil service and planning and promised to present to the parliament a detailed report on what has been achieved.

Mutahar punted out that the budget of scientific research is weak as it dons not exceed 5 millions for the ministry and 3 million riyals for each university.

The deputy Health minister said leaderships of the ministry will in March pay field visits to Al-Jawf governorate to open health projects there.

Ion the other hand four MPs have announced their withdrawal from a committee on fact-finding in the wake of a complaint filed by citizens from the area of Jaashin in the governorate of Ibb regarding their being deported from their houses by the sheikh there. They justified their withdrawal by non-cooperation of the local authority in the district of Thi al-Sifal with the parliamentary committee. The parliament demanded the parliament members to continue in the committee and to present a report on what happened about the issue.
